Jamie Bristoll

I currently (18/9/26) think of myself as a happy and positive deviant.

I dutifully conformed to norms & expectations for 40-50 years of my life, and have gradually weaned myself off the well trodden path, to a stage where I am content to trust my gut and follow my own, unique “Path with Heart”.

I am fully aware that “No One Wants to Read My Shit”, and it is hard as a “Non Writer” to know what is relevant & interesting, but this feels worthy of mention.

I currently “Live” on a narrowboat –

She was called the Covenant Connection when I met her, nearly 5 years ago (Thanks Tim!) –

…but at the first opportunity, when her bottom was dry, I followed my interpretation of the Folk Lore, and changed her name to The Real Me –

…partly in homage to the bloody incredible song with the bloody incredible bass & drum playing of the late John Entwistle & Keith Moon, but more as a realisation that I’d been living a life of other folks expectations & hopes, rather than my own.

Like an onion, I wanted to peel back the layers of societal programming to discover what was in fact, The Real Me, in this brief span of existence.
